1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Plakat (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Plakat is a poster and creative design platform that provides tools for image decomposition, layer editing, variant generation, and design export. The Service uses AI-powered processing to transform images into editable design components.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
4. Credits & Billing
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive a limited number of starting credits. Additional credits may be purchased or obtained through paid plan subscriptions. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any images you upload to the Service. Designs and outputs generated through the Service are owned by you, subject to the rights of any third-party content used as input. You grant Plakat a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your projects and data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Plakat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
